Eye Doc.- Doc Kuffel

Yesterday was not a good day. To begin, we got ready to go to Corpus Christi at 9 am for a 10 am appointment and found the buick had a flat tire. Our neighbor Jim let us take his car, so we made it to the doctors on time. After the exam the doctor told me he wanted to do the dye, laser treatment again, followed by a shot in the eye. I don't look forward to the shot. It's something new, and he has had good luck with it. He feels that it could improve the eye seight. When Patsy got back from shoping and picked me up, the back window was down about three inches and wouldn't move. Then I lost to a full house in Texas hold-em. Today I painted one of the L P tanks. It doesn't look to bad.

The hard life

After working hard all morning- exercising, playing pool, and taking a nap- I find that I can work up to something as hard as this. As long as the sun is shining.

CASINO CRUISE

Yesterday we went on the Texas Treasure cruise. The bus picked us up at 9:30 at the park, and brought us back at 6:30. It was a long and bad day. We both lost. At one time I was ahead $50, but that didn't last. In fact I cashed out - but there is nothing to do and you can't leave - so I want back and lost $80.

Fixing tires

Yesterday I was fixing tires on the bikes. Patsys needed a tube and tire on the back, and mine needed a tube on the front. After I had them done, I thought I'd see if I could ride. I've been afraid to try because I have so much trouble walking. I tend to drift to the right, and correcting tires me out . So I pushed off carefully - and yahoo -- I can ride. I can't walk but I can ride. So now Patsy can have the car more. I was useing it to go to exercuse in the morning and pool in the afternoon. The weather has been great this year - sunny and warm. Today Dec 7 it's 82,. Last night it got down to 70-( no covers, windows open). I talked to Less and Doris this morning , and they are going to Mexico with us. That makes eight of us.

The good news. The sun is shinning. I'm exercising , playing cards and pool and taking chelation.
